MAkeup brushes: Hey guys! well, today I made a special on brushes and the right way on how to use each one. I actually learned this watching famous bloggers like #michellephan & #juliagraf on youtube. They inspired my love for makeup as an art and not just as an everyday ritual. makeup is more than that!
When I first heard about this my reaction was: ” THIS IS AMAZING!, WE ARE BECOMING THE JETSONS! I WANT TO BE HER BEST FRIEND!”. This young woman is going to change an entire makeup industry because she was bold enough to go forward with her idea. She is the Harvard graduate student and makeup enthusiast that will bring the future for women, An at home 3D makeup printer.
Buisness graduate Grace Choi has discovered a way in which a 3D printing device could generate makeup. According to Choi, the machine, called Mink, is a mini at-home printer, which hooks up to your computer. It can take any image from a phone, laptop or camera and make it into a wearable cosmetic.
“Mink enables the web to become the biggest beauty store in the world. We’re going to live in a world where you can take a picture of your friend’s lipstick and print it out.”
Her goal is to change how we see the world of makeup through technology and this will train our girls to understand that : “The definition of beauty is something that they should be able to control, not the corporations.”

People always tell you how important it is to take care of your skin, but it isn’t until we reach our twenties that we really start to listen. While everyone agrees it’s in its “glory years,” if we don’t start caring for it now, it’s going to be downhill. many 20-somethings treat their skin as if it was invincible, when the truth is far from it. Here are some tips that you should start following my friends.
When It Comes to Skincare, It’s Important to Start Young: You are never too young to start caring for your skin! If you keep it healthy with a good routine from a young age you will be ageless.
Do Not Sleep with Your Makeup On: Apparently Sleeping with makeup on decreases the body’s ability to repair itself.
Good Genes Can Help, But Environmental Factors are More Important: The way the skin ages depends a lot on genetics (thanks mom for your amazing skin), but environmental factors such as excessive sun exposure and smoking will damage it. a 20 year old thats tanning, drinking & smoking ages faster than a 30 year old that eats well, excercises & wears sunscreen.
It’s Highly Important to Wear SPF Every Single Day, Seriously! The sun you get from daily activities in our 20’s will affect the skin for years to come. It is very important to wear SPF daily, because sun damage is cumulative. Nowadays many makeup brands have incorporated sunscreen in their products, so go to your store and check that out!
Morning and Bedtime Routine is Key: maintaining a simple, but effective morning and bedtime routine to ensure you’re doing everything you can to take care of your skin.
Don’t Forget to Exfoliate: Exfoliating your face twice a week. This will help remove any dead skin cells and keep your face smooth and shiny.
Avoid Too Much Sun On Your Face, Even If You Applied That SPF: A tan may look good now, but the sun will rob you of youthful skin in the future. Avoid tanning salons they do dreadful things to your skin, apart from cancer & wrinkles. if you go out to run or to the beach don’t forget a hat, any cute fashionable hat works if it covers your face.
What You Eat and Drink Affects Your Skin: Skin and diet are linked, so the better you eat, the better your skin will look.
Before launching to the wild world out there, here are some beauty tips to take with you in your purse:
Concealer: Instead of using base, you can simply use a concealer to hide imperfections, broken capillaries and discoloration on the face. Find a dual concealer palette and mix shades to perfectly match your skin.
Color: If your style is to wear very little makeup, just take in your bag a small gel blush and lipstick. Or if you really like to travel light multi-purpose dyes for lips and cheeks. These work particularly well if your makeup palette is neutral.
Lip Balm: Everyone gets dry lips, and a little moisturizer not only feels good, but can heal chapped lips. It’s also great to massage your cuticles and quickly put it in dry areas of the skin.
Mascara: It’s fast and easy to put on some mascara. It costs little and the benefits are enormous. The power that the mascara has to highlight the eyes, makes them hard to ignore. If you like the definition of your lashes using a black mascara, but not its thickness, try a transparent or a brown one, that are softer.
