Double Chocolate Madness Cake

 Nothing is more perfect than having something chocolaty! After I posted some days ago on my Instagram account that we had made my sisters famous DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CAKE, my feed went crazy with friends and followers asking for the recipe. So, we decided to share it with you guys. This cake is just perfect, the chewiness texture and the fudge just melts in your mouth, it’s really so decadent. 

 

INGREDIENTS 

 

2 CUPS FLOUR
2 CUPS WHITE OR BROWN SUGAR
¾ CUPS COCOA POWDER
1 TBS BAKING SODA
1 TBS BAKING POWDER
½ TSP SALT
2 EGGS
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
½ CUP VEGETABLE OIL
1 TBS VANILLA EXTRACT
1 CUP HOT WATER

 

GANACHE:

150 GR DARK CHOCOLATE
2 TBS SOUR CREAM
2 TBS BUTTER

 

DIRECTIONS

PREHEAT OVEN AT 350 DEGREES FOR 180 DEGREES C
MIX DRY INGREDIENTS: FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA, COCOA POWDER AND SALT
MAKE BUTTERMILK BY MIXING 1 CUP MILK + 1 TBS WHITE VINEGAR
ADD WET INGREDIENTS TO THE PREVIOUS MIXTURE: EGGS, OIL, BUTTERMILK, HOT WATER AND VANILLA

BLEND IN MEDIUM SPEED FOR 3 MIN
BUTTER AND FLOUR A CAKE PAN
PLACE MIXTURE IN THE OVEN FOR 35 TO 40 MIN (UNTIL KNIFE COMES OUT CLEAN)
FOR THE GANACHE MIX THE CHOCOLATE WITH BUTTER AND SOUR CREAM AND MELT IN THE MICROWAVE WITH INTERVALS OF 35 SECS
LET THE CAKE COOL AND CUT IN THE MIDDLE WITH A BREAD KNIFE.
ADD THE GANACHE ON THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE CAKE
